This two bedroom casita dates back to the early 1900’s. Santa Fe had a very active internationally known art scene in those days. Many artists formed friendly associations such as the Santa Fe Art Colony and the Cinco Pintores. Will Shuster, Fremont Ellis, Gerald Cassidy and Emil Bistrom are just a few of those who’s painting are highly sought after today. Camino Del Monte Sol intersects Canyon Road one block to the north and was a hub and home to many of these artists and their studios. We updated this adobe and even called it Casa Coombs for a short while.
